Apostle Suleman's Messages of Hope at Easter

The 2019 Easter celebration is coming with an outpouring of grace and blessing as servant of God and senior pastor at Omega Fire Ministries (OFM) worldwide, Apostle (Prof.) Johnson Suleman, delivers messages of hope and total restoration.

Following a successful outing in Russia where the OFM between Tuesday 16 and Wednesday 17, 2019, held the Moscow edition of a two-day soul-restoring crusade, Apostle Suleman is back home to bless the people with the anointing of total restoration and to pass to the hopeless the message of a second chance.

The theme of the cleric's message is based on the fact that since Resurrection is made possible, even though the world presently suffers social and economic blows, there is hope of a new life.

Starting from the Good Friday special service held on April 19, 2019, at the OFM headquarters in Auchi, Edo State, Nigeria, Apostle Suleman's messages suggest that faith in the Christian tradition, the risen Jesus Christ, brings more light and more hope against the darkness, depression and despair in man's life.

"What you could not do in five years, in the next 72 hours, God is empowering you to do it, the 'Restoration Apostle, as Suleman is fondly called, ministered, as he commanded that they be rolled out from people's lives "every stone of poverty, marital delay, curses, shame, stagnation, unemployment, financial problems, diseases, satanic afflictions and bondages."

Suleman posits that anytime the devil reminds a man of his past, it means he (the devil) has run out of materials on what to use against the man, "therefore," he states, with a hope for restoration, man must delete the thought from his mind and remind the devil of his future, which is Hell."

The servant of God, at all time, teaches on the Biblical evidence capable of convincing unbelievers that Jesus, indeed, did rise from the dead and thus back up His fact of being the Son of God. The Resurrection, he lectures, is the linchpin of the Christian faith; no resurrection, no Christianity.

"Who Have You Helped With Your Wealth!" ...colleague hits at Omotola Jalade for condemning Buhari govt.

Nollywood actor, Uche Madugwu, has lampooned his colleague, Omotola Jalade-Ekehinde for saying Nigeria is hellish under President Muhammadu Buhari led administration.

Uche, in a post on his Instagram page on Wednesday, asked the beautiful actress how many people she had assisted since she knew that the country under the President was hellish.

He wrote: “How many “instagram beggar” have you assisted financially since its obvious Nigeria is hellish?” Omotola, anyone can come out to say “the country under President Buhari is hellish”,

But as a CELEBRITY, with the WEALTH you have, in the past two years, how many BOREHOLE have you erected in your village? How many primary SCHOOLS in your Local Government Area have you renovated? How many hospitals in your village have you donated medical equipment or medicine to?

“I’m even going too far, Omotola, please how many of your fans who DM you for assistance on instagram on a daily basis have you helped financially?“John F. Kennedy once said, ‘ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country’.

“As celebrities, let us not only focus on criticizing the government, it is this same SOCIETY that made us who we are today.“ If we can send our own kids to the BEST schools abroad, why can’t we give SCHOLARSHIP to the POOR masses in Nigeria?

If we can buy our own child a CAR, why can’t we donate a bus for FREE transportation to primary school children in our community I hate selfish rich people!

“I Want To Change The World” …Budding Singer, Peace Jackson

Mick Jagger, famous English songwriter and theorist, says; “lose your dreams and you might lose your mind.” This, perhaps, is the maxim setting the pace for promising Nigerian female singer, Peace Jackson a.k.a. Pej, who has added passion to her dreams of becoming famous in music.

“If you play music with passion, love and honesty, then it will nourish souls, heal wounds and make life worth living for you and others because music is its own reward,” posits Peace Jackson whose thirst for music from secondary school is fast maturing like spring plants.

“I had known from time that music is my talent. But I only got serious with it by composing my songs when I was in secondary school,” the ND holder from a reputable Nigerian polytechnic declares, adding that she aims to use her songs to preach the realities of life, love, family and manners.

lthough, she lost her mother and father at the peak of her adulthood, Peace, the third from a family of four, maintains she would not be drawn back by the incident as she is determined to appreciate her deceased parents for their care by using her music to transform herself and those dear to her. “My dad and mum always longed to make me and my siblings outstanding and popular but death took them away unexpectedly. So, I must make success a reality all by myself,” Peace says, adding that “just as Jesus created wine from water, I want to use my song to change the world.”

The Eket, Akwa Ibom State native has released some single tracks awaiting promotions. They include, ‘I’m A Nigerian’, ‘I Love You’, ‘Family’, ‘Imagination’, ‘I Took Back What Matters To Me’, ‘Don’t Leave Me And Go Away’, ‘Long Distance Don’t Matter’, and more. Her music idols, she says, are Celine Dion, Simi, 2Face, Adekunle Gold and Teni.

Adesegun Adekoya's Bill on Retirement of Teacher Gets Senate Concurrence

A Bill for an Act to make provision for retirement age of teachers in Nigeria and for related matters on Tuesday has been concurred by the Senate.
The Senate concurred with the House of Representatives on the retirement age of teachers and Educational Officers bill 2019 sponsored by Honourable Adesegun Abdel-Majid Adekoya, representing Ijebu-North/Ijebu-East/Ogun Waterside Federal Constituency.
The Bill to raise the retirement age of Primary and Secondary school Teachers from 60 years to 65 has passed for concurrence at Red Chamber yesterday.
The bill which was sponsored by Hon. Adekoya Adesegun Abdel-Majid, representing Ijebu North/Ijebu East/Ogun Waterside Federal Constituency is seeking to extend the retirement age of professional teachers so that they can have more productive years to contribute to the development of education and dissemination of knowledge.
The report submitted by the Joint Committee set up by the House on the Bill was unanimously adopted by the lawmakers, after a public hearing on 13th of December, 2018.
Deputy Speaker, Hon. Yusuf Lasun, who presided over the session, put the report to a voice vote and it was approved unanimously. No single dissenting voice.
Leading the debate earlier, Honourable Abdel-Majid said that over the years, teachers had been clamouring for the extension of their retirement age as many of them still remain active and have more to contribute even beyond the 60 years age limit.
He maintained that the nation’s education is disadvantaged and have lost quality teachers due to early retirement of teachers without commensurate recruitment to fill their space.
The lawmakers said that most retired teachers still have a lot to offer and were often employed by private schools to tap into their wealth of experience, arguing that the older the teachers, the more patient and caring they become in attending to pupils and students’ needs, and the more likely they show empathy and understanding to their needs.
According to him, “the business of disseminating knowledge gets better with age, and the older the teachers, the more experienced they become, and their temperament also gets better in understanding the needs of the pupils and students. They also have more time to guide and mentor younger teachers along the line”
Abdel-Majid said that “the extension would also serve as a viable means of curbing the challenge of low manpower in public schools.
“The bill, when passed into law, would among other things, restore the lost glory of public schools and encourage teachers to offer their best,” he had said .
Most stakeholders in the education sector who appeared during the Public hearing including the Honourable Minister for Education who spoke on behalf of the President also expressed no objection to the proposed new teachers retirement age which also indicated that this might have an accelerated Presidential approval when transmitted to the executive.
It is therefore expected that Senate will approve after concurrence before sending same to the President for his assent.

The Gambian President Hosts, Praises Apostle Suleman

President Adama Barrow of The Republic of Gambia on Thursday, hosted Servant of God and senior pastor at Omega Fire Ministries (OFM) worldwide, Apostle Johnson Suleman, who was in the tiny West African country on a two-day restorative crusade.

Suleman and his ministers who drove from Banjul International Airport through the city like royalty, had taken the ministry’s regular soul-restoring programme tagged ‘The Supernatural’ to The Gambia following another successful two-day outing in neighbouring Dakar, the capital city of Senegal.

As a mark of respect, the outspoken Nigerian cleric had called on President Barrow’s office in the country’s capital and largest city, Banjul, a few hours before the crusade kicked off on Wednesday, April 3.

Welcoming Suleman, President Barrow expressed joy at Suleman’s feats as a spiritual balm to souls that wander while congratulating him for bringing messages of love to all with his devotional efforts.

Barrow also commended the cleric for his private pet project, ‘Touch of Love’, through which lives of thousands of the less privileged have been restored.

Suleman, after the presidential reception, went on with the crusade, hosting hundreds of Gambians and people from neighbourinmg states as he ministered the healing power of God to all including those plagued with all manner of infirmities.

While giving charity, ‘The Restoration Apostle’ as the famous cleric is fondly called, would say with pleasure, “we are feeling joy, delivering healing and happiness to the people through divine messages and giving.  This is a practice of love as God has directed us to do and this has brought us great reward.

Too often it seems easier to criticize than to affirm and express appreciation for the outstanding service that men of God give. But to Apostle Suleman, having fulfilled that he is led by the Spirit of God to do that which he has been doing, it’s a great pleasure.

“When we give sacrificially for the benefit of others, we are innocently spreading the gospel,” he would affirm.

In the last two years, the Omega Fire Ministries popularity through Suleman’s steady achievements has soared with a credit of 61 OFM branches spread across different countries, with the servant of God running the charity arm through his personal businesses with interests in 8 countries.
