FAITH: "Fayose's Ingratitude Cost Ekiti PDP Governorship Ticket" ...Primate Ayodele

Prophesies On Osun Election

Servant of God and founder of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Lagos, Primate Elijah Babatunde Ayodele, has spoken on the just concluded governorship election in Ekiti State, saying God actually had good plan for the ruling People’s Democratic Party (PDP) over the opposition All Progressives Congress (APC) but that PDP lost the election because of three key factors. According to the famour prophet, the outgoing governor of the state, Dr. Ayodele Fayose, should be blamed for the PDP loss because “he betrayed God and the people of Ekiti State’.

“Greed, self-interest and ingratitude of Fayose led to his party’s defeat,” stated Primate Ayodele, adding that if the governor had not disobeyed God, his party would have been victorious in the July 14th 2018 election.

Prof. Olusola Kolapo Eleka was the PDP candidate in the election who was deafeated by APC’s Dr. Kayode Fayemi.

“God revealed to us and we warned Fayose to desistfrom been selfish, greed and ungrateful but he snubbed God’s warnings. He said he is also a prophet.  He kept deceiving the people that he had the gift of the prophets. Now, he has realized that God is not mocked. What happened to PDP in Ekiti State on January 14th2018, we saw it one year ago and we delivered God’s message to Fayose on the need to work hard and stop deceiving the Ekiti people. I’m from Ekiti State, so I know what I’m talking about,
The prophet of God added that he, nonetheless, felt pity for Eleka who he thinks was the victim of Fayose’s rebellious lifestyle.
“I feel pity for Eeleka because he was the victim of the nemesis that eventually caught up with Fayose. When we gave God’s message to Fayose, he branded us fake prophet,” the man of God specified.

A few months ago in some national dailies, Primate Ayodele had predicted that Olusola Eleka of the PDP, though deserving of being the next governor of Ekiti State, may not have it ‘because of certain things Fayose needed to do which would not only warm him into the hearts of Ekiti people but also make his opponents not to triumph over him’.
Also, Primate Ayodele specifically revealed that if APC picked Kayode Fayemi in the party’s May 12th 2018 primaries, it would clinch victory.

Primate Ayodele had said: “On the forthcoming election in Ekiti, PDP will lose. Kayode Fayemi will win if he listens to instructions, one of which is for him to concentrate on winning the hearts of the grassroots, and also watch his utterances that may offend much of Ekiti electorate. For Fayose and his party’s candidate, Olusola, Fayose must humble himself and work very hard to please Ekiti people, otherwise he would make his candidate lose. The forthcoming election in Ekiti State will be tough. It is only God that can make Fayose and his candidate to win that election. So, Fayemi should work hard, especially more with the grassroots and he will win if he does what I told him. But if he’s doing elitist politics, he will not win.”
So far, Ayodele has demonstrated his prowess as been above and ahead of his equals in the gift of prophecy, for he is the only prophet that got it right. And for this, he is well revered across Nigeria and abroad.  A quick perusal of some of the servant of God’s very recent past prophecies would reveal this fact.

On page 7 of Global Excellence magazine online, www.globalexcellenceonline.com under the caption, ‘Top Prophet, Primate Ayodele, Releases 2017/2018 Prophecies’, the man of God was quoted as follows;
"I foresee a situation whereby the masses will go on serious protests and vehicles of government officials will be stoned on the road". Plateau State governor, Lalong and his deputy narrowly escaped death when they were attacked at the IDP camp few days after.

Also, the victory of the just concluded Ekiti governorship election was long foretold by Primate Ayodele. In a January 10th 2018 edition of City People magazine, on page 29, Ayodele prophesied that "The present PDP government in Ekiti State must work hard and strategize well to win the hearts of the people otherwise the APC will win the governorship election of July 14, 2018. Tell Governor Fayose of Ekiti state not to relax because there is fire on the mountain and the election will go beyond his expectations as people of Ekiti may gang up against him and his anointed candidate .There will be a lot of measures to prevent rigging. If APC wishes to win Ekiti State, the party should consider fielding Kayode Fayemi as its candidate.”True to Ayodele’s message, the APC candidate, Fayemi was announced as winner of the governorship election.
In his annual prophecy book, ‘Warnings To The Nations’ released in April 2017, the servant of God warned of the impending closure of the Lagos Third Mainland Bridge. Page 78 of the book reads;
"The long bridge will be closed for maintenance activities as there will be renovation of certain sections of it. Let us rebuke through prayers strange happenings on the bridge.” Two months after, precisely in June ending, the Federal Ministry of Works announced its decision to close the Third Mainland Bridge for repairs. Also, cases of people jumping into the waters under the bridge become pronounced of late.

Some of the past prophecies of Primate Ayodele which have been fulfilled include the death of Punch newspaper chairman, Mr Wale Aboderin, the prevailing security challenges in the country, the flood in Katsina and Ogun States, the death of Alhaji Ibrahim Coomasie, a former Police IG. Others are; the sack of former NFF boss, Amaju Pinnick, the unceremonious exit of Odigie Oyegun as APC national chairman, the dull outing of the national team, Super Eagles, at the World Cup 2018 tournament in Russia, the romance between America and Russia which he predicts may spell doom for the Trump presidency’s second term bid.

It is also on record that Primate Ayodele, it was, the first, and so far the only, prophet to have spoken about the senate president, Bukola Saraki’s 2019 presidential ambition. As a matter of fact, Ayodele, emboldened by the revelation he received from God on Saraki’s political future, released a public statement calling on Saraki to ‘come out and contest the 2019 presidential election against Buhari’. Although, events consequent to Ayodele’s call appeared to have sealed his political future, Saraki’s body language of late points to his heeding the divine call for next year’s presidential contests.
The servant of God, meanwhile, has new messages from God; “ Ghanaian president and Benin Republic president won’t have second term, Igbo presidency will not materialize in 2019, there will be factions in the national transport union (NURTW) and chairman of the Lagos chapter, Agbede, will face a lot of challenges.

I see the Osun PDP governorship contest between Akin Ogunbiyi and Ademola Adeleke, but Ogunbiyi will brighten the party's chances in the race with APC. Gboyega Oyetola of APC's chance is very bright for governorship. I see him ahead of others. Iyiola Omisore of SDP, I have not seen him making much impacts as far as Osun governorship is concerned."

From the above, it is noted that true prophecies come directly from God through the Holy Spirit to true men and women of God to pronounce them. Also, it states the fact that, mainly, true prophecies are about God and His kingdom.

BRANDS: Dangote Cement Invests $3bn on Plants, Grinding Terminals Across Africa

….Employs 27,952 Nigerians

Group Chief Executive Officer of Dangote Cement, Joe Makoju has revealed that the company has invested a whopping $3B to build manufacturing plants and import/grinding terminals across Africa.

The company’s operations, according to Makoju are in Cameroon (1.5Mta clinker grinding), Congo (1.5Mta), Ghana (1.5Mta import), Ethiopia (2.5Mta), Senegal (1.5Mta), Sierra Leone (0.7Mta import), South Africa (2.8Mta), Tanzania (3.0Mta), Zambia (1.5Mta).
For the second quarter under review, Makoju also revealed that while total Nigeria sales volumes went up by 13.9 per cent to 7.8Mt, Pan-African volumes reduced by 3.9 per cent, mainly due to shutdown in Tanzania.

In all, the company, which employed 27,952 workers in Nigeria in 2017 had its revenue increased by 16.9 per cent and its earning per share also increased by 3 per cent to N6.60 kobo per share for the second quarter, ended in June 30, 2018.

Makoju said: “Our first-half performance was very strong and driven by an excellent recovery in Nigeria, where our sales volumes increased by nearly 14 per cent and revenues rose by more than 18 per cent. Pan-African operations saw a slight fall in volumes but both revenues and EBITDA increased because of better pricing and currency conversion effects.
In addition, we achieved the largest-ever issuance of Commercial Paper by a Nigerian company when we issued ₦50B Series 1 & 2 Notes at the end of June, with a discount rate that reflected the strength of our Company and its excellent credit ratings.
Of course, our strong performance has been overshadowed by the tragic and heartbreaking events in Ethiopia. I would like to pay tribute to my colleagues Deep Kamra, Beakal Alelign and Tsegaye Gidey and offer our sincere condolences to their families.”

It would be recalled that the Chairman of Dangote Cement, at the company’s recently concluded annual general meeting (AGM), Aliko Dangote attributed the 31 per cent increase in the company’s revenue, of N805.6 billion, for the 2017 financial year, to its pan African operations growth which also recorded a significant increase in revenue from N195 billion to N258.4 billion in 2017.

He said: “Pan African operations increased volumes by 8.4 per cent, with Ethiopia, Senegal, Cameroon and South Africa all performing strongly and close to their operating capacity”
Noting that the company experienced some challenges in operating in sub-Saharan Africa, Dangote said the Management responded in robust fashion and benefited from “…the diversity we have created across our business and because of our local knowledge and attitudes towards doing business in neighboring countries in Africa.”
Explaining the rationale behind the success recorded by the Dangote Cement’s revenue, the acting Group Chief executive, Joe Makoju said “… the increase was helped by our decision to increase our use of local coal in Nigeria and that also helped to improve our fuel security, maintain production uptime and it reduced our need for foreign currency. We source coal from our parent company, Dangote Industries and from another Nigerian supplier, and we are very happy with the way this has worked out for us because it has enabled us to phase out the use of expensive low pour fuel oil in our kilns and also to reduce our use of imported coal”

On the future growth plans for the Group, Makoju said “…As it stands, I think we will focus on building new grinding plants along the coast of West Africa, and ensure we have clinker export facilities in Nigeria. We are looking at the possibility of two new lines in Nigeria, perhaps by the end of 2020 and its likely these will be in Edo state and Obajana, with a combined capacity of 6Mta”

OPINION: A Tale of Two Sundays

BY BISI ADELEYE-FAYEMI

Sunday June 22nd 2014, I woke up at 7am. I had gone to bed at 3am but did not drift off to sleep till 5am. It was no surprise that I had a dull ache in my head. JKF was already up and getting dressed. I picked up my phone and saw the large number of missed calls and text messages. I put the phone down and called for my morning coffee. I was told that visitors were waiting to see us. I nodded my head but made no move to leave the bedroom. I looked at my phone again and saw that I had just missed a call from Erelu Angela Adebayo, the wife of Otunba Niyi Adebayo, former Governor of Ekiti State, who is one of our political leaders and mentors. If anyone knew exactly how I was feeling that morning, it would be Erelu Adebayo, because her husband also lost his second term bid in 2003.

Saturday June 21st 2014 was a very bad day, one of those days that I referred to recently as Ojo buruku esu bu omi mu -The day the devil came to drink water’. That day, my husband lost his re-election bid. Even though we knew there where disgruntled interest groups and some political associates had left to join another party hereby splitting some of our votes, we did not see a loss coming. JKF worked hard during his first term in office and his administration had a lot to show for it. When he ran for re-election in 2014, he ran on the basis of what he had accomplished and the promise of continuing all the great initiatives that had been started. Even the worst critics of his administration admitted that he accomplished a great deal. However, there was a disturbing narrative that no amount of logic could dislodge. JKF was described as ‘too academic, aloof, stubborn, disconnected, stingy’ and so on. He was not the kind of political leader favoured in our environment. The June 2014 election was like a war in Ekiti State. The election was heavily militarized and many of our party officials were arrested or hounded out of town before the election to prevent them from leading party members to the polls. Through a combination of the role played by the heavy-handed security agencies, the intimidation of voters, and the shady activities of some of the officials at the electoral management body, the Independent Electoral Commission (INEC), there was a perfect storm that cost us the election.

That Sunday June 22nd, Erelu Angela who I call ‘Big Sis’, comforted me and as I listened to her kind words I started to cry. I told her that there were a number of visitors out in the living room and I did not want to go out and face them because I did not know what to say to them. She told me to go out and raise their spirits with a song. And that is exactly what I did. I showered, dressed up and walked into the living room looking smart and all smiles, singing a popular Yoruba Christian song, ‘Awa ju asegun lo’ – We are more than conquerors. When the visitors saw that I was not downcast or looking miserable, they attempted to hide their own misery and the atmosphere of gloom improved a bit. As I tried to comfort the women who had come to visit on Sunday June 22nd 2014, I said to them, ‘Our assignment in Ekiti is over. We would have liked to spend 8 years, but now God has told us that we are done for now. He will show us the way. Take heart, God knows best. We have carried out our assignment to the best of our ability. We have a lot to be thankful for. We will not mourn’. I knew I needed to be strong for my husband’s sake, so even if my heart was broken, my spirit was not.

Throughout the day visitors trooped in, and even though I knew they were coming to show solidarity, I did not like the fact that some of them would burst into tears the moment they set eyes on me. The visits continued throughout Sunday and Monday. By Tuesday I could not bear the thought of more delegations coming to ‘mourn’ with us, so I left Ekiti for Ghana and switched off my phone. While I was away, the creepy spokesman for the other side spread a story on social media that I had collapsed and was in hospital. When my friends could not reach me, they panicked. It was a terrible time.

I have alluded to some of the things that transpired after JKF lost the Ekiti election in 2014. Losing an election was not the end of the world as far as I was concerned. What came after was more devastating. People often say failure is an orphan. No, failure is not an orphan, failure is a bastard. People take pity on orphans and offer help and have a sense of obligation towards them. No one pities a bastard, the usual treatment is scorn, derision and ridicule. Trusted friends and colleagues decided to dissociate themselves from us and seek political fortunes elsewhere. That in itself was not a bad thing, but the lies, distortions, character assassination and revisions of history were almost unbearable. The message from all this was clear. JKF was now irrelevant, finished, a persona non grata. Or so they thought. Shortly after, JKF chaired an excellent party convention in December 2014 that produced the Presidential Candidate for the All Progressives Congress (APC), he played a key role in the 2015 Presidential Campaign, and he served as a Federal Minister. Not bad for a persona non grata.

Sunday July 15th 2018, I went to bed at 4am and fell asleep at 6am. I was too excited to sleep, but I knew the next day would be a very long one. By 8am our country home was full of guests, including three Governors and their entourages. Everyone was smiling broadly and there was a lot of hugging and back-slapping. By the time JKF was officially declared the Governor-Elect of Ekiti State by the Independent Electoral Commission that morning, there were at least 2,000 people in our compound and the field right beside the house.

There was a wonderful celebration, and as we all sang and danced, the lessons were not lost on anyone. No one knows tomorrow. We don’t know what a new dawn brings, so we should be mindful of our words and actions. Every community has their own version of the story about the pauper who became a prince and the Prince who became a frog. There can be no contestation for power without subversion or disruption. However, it does not mean we have to lose our humanity. When mere mortals forget that they were created by a superior being, they get very forceful reminders. Last week, there was a lot of drama involving the current leadership of Ekiti State which has inspired a range of hilarious memes and videos. They all had the same theme – ‘How are the mighty fallen’. Even if some of us are bad at Arithmetic, we all know 1+1=2. And even if we have never been to a farm, we should know that you can’t plant cassava and harvest yams.

Two Sundays. Two major events in my life. Two totally different outcomes. How do I feel? There are not enough words to describe how I feel, but let me throw out a few -thankful, relieved, grateful, tired, excited, vindicated, forgiving and hopeful. I give thanks to God Almighty for his mercy and favour. I would like to thank all those who provided financial, material, technical, moral and spiritual support. I wish our political space was not as toxic and chaotic as it is now. This needs to change.

Meanwhile, let me now take a break and sleep well for the first time in a long time. Tell yourself, ‘I am more than a conqueror because I have faith’.

Have a great week.

RELIGION: Apostle Suleman Gifts Boko Haram Detainee, Leah Sharibu's Family N1m, Libya Returnees N2.5m

Human beings are not naturally known to always give without thinking of what they would get in return. So it is worthy of note when a man gives so much without asking for anything in return.

Apostle (Prof.) Johnson Suleman, the head pastor at Omega Fire Ministries (OFM) worldwide, may not be the ideal 'perfect master'; of course, no man is, but he has endeared himself to many particularly those who get a helping hand when it matters to them. He shows love to all and occasionally dishes out different grades of people cash and gift items, irrespective of faith, tribe or colour.

The latest beneficiary of Apostle Suleman's milk of kindness is the family of the young school girl, Leah Sharibu, who unfortunately was kidnapped by the dreaded Islamic sect, Boko Haram, alongside her schoolmates in the Northern part of Nigeria but was held back for refusing to convert from her faith, Christianity.

Information has it that the servant of God willingly blessed Leah's mother with the sum of N1m (one million naira). The poor girl's mother, a school teacher, has stopped teaching since her daughter's kidnap. This came to the hearing of Apostle Suleman, we gathered, and he asked that the money be given to Leah's mother to support her family while he offers to continue to pray for the quick release of her daughter.

In the same vein, the servant of God who does not get tired of giving also doled out the sum of N2.5m to a group of young men who were recently deported from Libya. The Libya returnees were full of appreciation to the respected clergy who used the opportunity of the occasion to advise young men and women against traveling to Libya for greener pastures.
