12 Govs' Wife, Famed Cancer Survivor, Others For OYSOWA Women Summit

At least 12 governors’ wives, former Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice Aloma Mukhtar; and famed lawyer-cum cancer survivor, Ms Adenike Oyetunde, will lead about 1000 delegates to this year’s Oyo State Officials’ Wives Association’s National Women Summit.

A statement by the Chairperson, Planning Committee and wife of Secretary to the State Government, Mrs. Bolanle Alli, on Monday, said that women rights activists, gender specialists and leadership trainers would converge on Ibadan for the summit titled, ‘Against all odds.’
She added the Convener of the summit and Wife of the state governor, Chief Florence Ajimobi, would be the chief hostess of the three-day event, beginning on Wednesday.
Alli explained that the governor’s wife established OYSOWA seven years ago to galvanize wives of elected and appointed state officials into leading the charge for the advancement of women politically and socially, as well as support for the government.
She said that the wife of the governor had also through various social safety nets, such as Access to Basic Medical Care Foundation (ABC), Ajumose Food Bank, Educate A Rural Child, empowered more than one million citizens of the state.
According to her, 751,000 people across the 351 wards in the state, as well as 6600 in orphanages, 3000 widows and 6000 aged have benefited from the Ajumose Food Bank alone, while several thousand have enjoyed free medical care.
Alli said, “Some of the issues that have been on OYSOWA front burner include poverty alleviation schemes, appointments, and domestication of laws that prescribe punishments for violence against women and child abuse, among others.
“Since the OYSOWA national summit began seven years ago, more than 10,000 women have been empowered with life-changing business ideas, knowledge and financial support.
“Generally speaking, more than one million citizens of Oyo State, including orphans and the vulnerable have benefitted from the altruistic gestures of Her Excellency in the past seven years. Many displaced women and children have been sheltered.

“In line with its’ vision and objectives, OYSOWA has also been involved in laudable projects geared towards improving the lot of the women folk, including advocacy and awareness walk on the rising incidence of domestic violence, rape and cancer.”

Alli stated that this year’s summit was poised to surpass the previous ones in terms of attendance and topical issues aimed at giving the women and the child a new lease of life.
According to her, other speakers billed for the summit include Chairman/Chief Executive Officer-designate, Nigeria Diaspora Commission, Mrs Abike Dabiri-Erewa; Dr Laila St. Matthews-Daniels; popular thespian, Joke Silva; Rev. Kemi Ijagbulu; seasoned international development expert, Mrs. Grace Adetula; Dr Nkem Okoro and Dr. Adeola Faleye.

K1 de Ultimate Loses Lead Vocalist, Saxophonist Falls Into Coma!

Fuji music czar, King Wasiu Ayinde Marshall a.k.a. K1 de Ultimate, is bereaved. The 'Talazo' exponent, an inside source told Global Excellence magazine, lost his lead vocalist simply called 'Dipo this (Sunday) evening.

Also, the only saxophonist on the 'Ultimate Band' known as Joel, reportedly fell into coma on Saturday due to undisclosed ailment.

The source in the know, who described the deceased 'Dipo as 'a gentleman to the core', said that on Saturday when team members called to inform him of a show due for Sunday (today) evening at Oduduwa Street at GRA, Ikeja, he complained that he had been unable to sleep for some days.

"We called to tell him about today's show at Oduduwa GRA but he said he was sick and had not been able to sleep for some days. When we called later, we were told that he had been taken to hospital for treatment. Later, he called back and said he was fine, only to hear he has died this afternoon," the source informed.

The source denied knowledge of the nature of the saxophonist, Joel's ailment but said he was still in coma as at when Global Excellence magazine got the information.
Nonetheless, the GRA Ikeja Sunday (this) night show would go on as planned, according to the source, "because Alhaji (K1) can't afford to disappoint the organizers who are social influencers and had taken time to plan for the event, though he (K1) won't be in the right frame of mind because 'Dipo was one of his most loyal boys."

It was gathered that a few band members who are close to the deceased and the sick might not honour the Sunday night engagement with the team.

A top member of K1 musical team confirmed the story.

"Real Reason Pastor Sunday Adelaja Is Fighting Fellow Pastors"

By OBIWEST UTCHAYCHUKWU
It is disheartening for one to get to the apogee of his ministerial calling, then out of the blue something happens and he sees himself back to square one, that’s the case of Pastor Sunday Adelaja, erstwhile senior Pastor of The Embassy of God Church in Kiev, Ukraine.  The fall of the Nigerian charismatic preacher and prolific author is still a huge shock to me. A man who used to be a global voice in the Christendom, who had met several world leaders and won numerous awards like the Archbishop Benson Idahosa Prize for Missionary Exploits which was presented to him in recognition of his missionary exploits and social engagement in Kiev, Ukraine and around the world.
Pastor Sunday Adelaja was honoured to open the U.S. Senate in prayer on April 23, 2007 just after he became an Honourable Member of the EuroAsian International Chamber of Commerce. He was also honoured to speak twice at the United Nations on August 23, 2007. In his late thirties, Adelaja’s Embassy of God Church in Kiev, Ukraine became Europe’s largest church with close to 30,000 members and had branches spread across the Nation of Ukraine and some other countries.
The fall of pastor Sunday Adelaja is connected to the multiple sexual accusations on his head where over 30 women have accused him of having an extra marital affairs with them. Adelaja, admitted that he sexually abused the women in an audio clip which is on the internet where an undercover journalist who posed as a prophet called him from the UK. Adelaja was heard saying “Amen, Glory to God” when the undercover journalist told him that the incriminating explicit photos will disappear and he would be exonerated. In one of his videos he stated that sexual sin alone cannot take one to hell fire
A letter obtained by DiasporaReporters from Pastor Sunday Adelaja’s former spiritual father and mentor, Apostle Tuff Ulysses who is based in the US indicates that both of them have parted ways after the man got wind of his protégé’s sexual shenanigans. He wrote him a letter officially withdrawing from him.
Below are summary of the letter which Pastor Sunday Adelaja former mentor wrote him;
-You have defiled the sanctity of marriage with your immoral behaviour.
-A pastor is supposed to be one of sexual purity but you cannot say this about yourself.
- You committed incest with your spiritual children.
- You covet your neighbour's wives.
- Deception for months. Although you called me and told that you wanted me to know, you were still committing unholy acts.
- Lying- numerous distortions to me.
- Pride instead of a spiritual humility.
- Hypocrisy
The Embassy of God Church, reputed to be Europe’s largest church with 30,000 members is now living in her past glory as thousands of members have left the church due to Pastor Sunday Adelaja’s immoral act and also the $100 million law suit against him where some members of the church accused him of defrauding them by asking them to invest in a Ponzi Scheme “Kings Capital” which later collapsed.
According to investigations by DiasporaReporters, Pastor Sunday Adelaja has been kicked out of the church hierarchy, his name is no longer among the names of the church executive. To make matter worse for him, the Ukrainian authority have placed him on travel ban since last year and his international passport seized from him to stop him from fleeing the country. Recent reports has it that one of the young ladies who accused him of having affairs with her later committed suicide and died.
Information obtained from somebody who is very close to him says that Pastor Sunday Adelaja is now on drugs due to his mental challenges orchestrated by the myriads of problems that has engulfed him. He is presently at the crossroads of life looking at where he was before and where he is now. I believe that God must have warned Pastor Sunday Adelaja before his sudden fall but he never heeded to the admonition because of pride and arrogance. Pastor Adelaja is full of himself as if he alone has the monopoly of spiritual knowledge. His over 25 years of ministerial exploits in far away Ukraine is now in ruins, he has completely lost it and that’s why he is trying hard to bring down other men of God mostly in Nigeria.
His recent Facebook live stream collaboration with a Nigerian adulterous "On Air Personality" Daddy Freeze shows that he had digressed into the lowest ebb of spiritual sensitivity. He has rubbished and made mockery of notable men of God in Nigeria like Pastor E.A. Adeboye, Bishop David Oyedepo, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, Prophet T.B Joshua, Apostle Johnson Suleman, Dr Paul Enenche, etc.
Recently, he told his protégé, Mayowa Olaiya, a Nigerian lady who relocated from the UK to be living in his house in Ukraine to start a petition and mobilise people to sign the petition that will be forwarded to the UK Prime Minister, Theresa May urging her to ban a Nigeria preacher, Rev Funke Adejumo from entering the UK.
Pastor Sunday Adelaja and Mayowa are accusing the woman of God of defrauding people by asking them to sow a seed ranging from $500 to $1000 as the case may be. This is the same Pastor Sunday Adelaja who in the time past has called out people to sow a seed. I have a video where he said he needed $20,000 to put screen TV in his church and people were trouping out and a young student came out and sowed a seed of $1000. More also, Adelaja also stated it that his honorarium is between $5000 to $15000, so why then are they crucifying Rev Funke Adejumo.
The petition has caused some mixed feelings and some group have countered her petition with their own petition.

Apostle Suleman’s Recipes For A Successful Spiritual Life

"We have gifts that differ according to the grace given to us, let us use them’ (Romans 12; 6)

We all have gifts and grace and they are varied and different. That was the basis upon which the recent teachings by the servant of God and senior pastor at Omega Fire Ministries (OFM) worldwide, Apostle (Prof.) Johnson Suleman, are based. According to the firebrand preacher, God usually chooses to use impossible feats when it will cause others to know He is God, and it will bring Him glory. It’s not an ego thing; it’s a miraculous, truly amazing act of grace. God has nothing to prove. No one can defeat it; no one can explain it, no one can contain it. From the teachings some of which are presented here, it is indicated that too many people are living a life that is not theirs; meaning that many live their lives according to what others think is best for them.

Don’t Be In A Hurry To Be Like Others
“The privilege of a lifetime is to become who you truly are. This life is transient; never use people’s life as your standard. That is why when I see people in competition with others; I’m really worried because all of these things have lost values. Don’t be in competition with people. Don’t desire to be what people are in the public because you don’t know what they did in secret. There are many superstars you see all over the place, they have cars, they have buildings and they have everything but they have entered some covenant that you can’t enter. There are some people that have what you don’t have; you cannot do what they have done. It is an error to make a human being your standard. What God created the first day was not what He created the second day. What He created the second day was not what He created the third day. What He created the fifth day was not what He created the sixth day. Some people are in front of you because they are in their sixth day and you are still in your first day. Don’t be in a hurry to be like them. Whether it is called car, building or jets, they are transient. 1 Timothy 6; 8 says, ‘having food and garments, let us be content’. The only thing that defines a prosperous man is food and cloth. With the ability to feed and clothe yourself, you are fine. Luke 12; 15 says, ‘a man’s life does not consist of the abundance of the things that he possesses. Some are feeling as though God has abandoned them. When they look at their mates, they feel that God has abandoned them, they are judging by the world’s system and world’s standard. Listen, you may not be where you ought to be but you’re not where you used to be. God has done something for you; so, do not judge yourself by man’s standard. Don’t be in a hurry. Stay calm, stay cool, and stay calculated. Very soon, what God has ordained for your life will come into your hands.”

Calm Down, Life Is Turn By Turn
“Life gives you options, you make decisions. You are not a prostitute because you are suffering. You are a prostitute because you want to prostitute. You are not a Yahoo boy because your family is suffering; you are a Yahoo boy because you’re in a hurry to make money. In your 20s and early 30s you want to buy aircraft, you want to buy houses; that is why you’re doing what you’re doing. Sometimes, we blame the society. In that same society, some people are managing their lives. In that same society, some people are managing and taking their lives one step at a time. It is better to be slow and sure than to be fast and fall. Sometimes, shortcut is the longest cut. Don’t let somebody tell you that they are into what they are into because their family is suffering. There are people whose families suffer more than your family and yet they maintain their decency. Don’t tell me that you’re doing money ritual because your family is suffering. You’re into money ritual because you want to live in Banana Island. You are into money ritual because you want to have vacation in America. You do what you do not because you’re suffering but because you’re in a hurry. If only you can calm down, you will understand that life is turn by turn.”

Avoid A Man That Does Not Dream
“Associate yourself with people that can understand you and people that think what you’re thinking. Move with people that can help you. Look at Joseph; the enemy of a dreamer is a man that does not dream. A man would sleep and wake up and see nothing and his fellow would sleep and have a dream. The fellow that had a dream, he is in trouble. Others would say a pastor whose ministry is growing must have buried a cow in the church to draw crowd; he is using charm, he using fake power bla… bla… Laughable. Somebody once told me that somebody’s church was growing because he buried cow in the church. I replied that ‘are you not ashamed?  They buried Jesus Christ for three days for you, yet your church is not growing. Is cow more powerful than Jesus who was buried for your sake?’ I asked him to leave my presence.  On that note, avoid a man who does not dream because he is enemy of a dreamer.”

Know That Life Is A Battle
“Any destiny that is not fought against is not worth imagining. Any future that is not challenged should not be desired. Every great destiny is surrounded by battles. You must get to a point where you understand that life is battle. Hear me, lady; fine face alone cannot give you a husband, cat walking cannot give you a man. Make-up; layer one, layer two, layer three… cannot give you a man. You will catwalk and catwalk and your waist will almost break, no man may look at you. You’d make up and make up and be looking like ‘mgbeke’, yet nobody will look at you. You will make up and put different crayons as if you are working in the department of fine and applied arts, yet nobody is looking at your face. You will make your hair and it’s down to your waist like mammy water, and yet nobody cares. And if you like as a man, put your trousers on your waist like a headmaster or a civil servant and go for job interview; that’s not what will bring a job. ‘Charm is deceitful, beauty is vain. But a lady that fears the Lord, she shall be praised’ (Proverbs 31; 30).
